Count me in

In a tiny corner of Central Asia, there is a rarely mentioned (and hard to spell) gem called Kyrgyzstan - a country with a wealth of touristic opportunities, and perfectly suited for a two-week mountain bike challenge.

The country has a small network of paved roads, and many more dirt seasonal roads that can take you to some of the most remote places in the country, and to some of the least known wonders of the world. Th cycling will be tough and the camping will be rugged. While were there we'll explore:

-Issyk-Kul Lake - world's second highest mountain lake
-Tosor Pass - a dramatic climb above 3000m on rocky roads deep in the interior of Kyrgyzstan
-the cities of Osh and Bishkek
-and much more

Kyrgyzstan is extremely safe, with very welcoming and friendly people, with reasonably good infrastructure for tourists. With easy connections from Europe, its not as far away as you might think.

This will be the ultimate off-road challenge for those with not a lot of time to spare, but with a love of a new challenge in beautiful and exotic place.
