An early morning Individual Time Trial was the only racing on our day into Khartoum, with the real challenge being the long hot convoy across Omdurman, the Nile, and Khartoum itself. Raffa sealed up his victory on the 1st of the 8 tour sections with a blistering pace of 45.5 km/hr. Congratulations also go out to Femke for being the fastest lady on the Pharaoh's Delight and indeed to all the riders for completing the first 2000 km of the Tour from Cairo.
